Activity

My mission within Nutrivasc Team is to develop technics allowing the evaluation of cardiovascular state, especially the vascular function in Humans and animal models.The objective of this work is the identification of cardiovascular risks at early stage. To this aim, there is a need to have reliable biomarkers that can be used in cohort.

- I perform assays to measure: 

  • soluble markers of endothelial lesion (von Willebrand factor)
  • soluble markers of endothelial activation (adhesion molecules: sICAM-1 et sVCAM-1)
  • Circulating NO

- I work on projects aiming at the identification and the validation of new biomarkers such as:

  • Endothelial microparticles (EMP)
  • Specific microRNA (miRNA).

- I take part in the conduction of clinical trials in the research program of the team.

- I am in charge of the technical facility dedicate to the exploration of the vascular function in Humans using non invasive technics. In clinical trials, several methods are used to explore the vascular function:

  • Endothelium dependent vasodilation
  • Arterial stiffness

- Immuno- histochemistry and microscopy
