INRA wishes to inform you that papers concerning sunflower downy mildew published or submitted for publication by Nachaat SAKR (AEC Syria*) since he finished his doctoral thesis at INRA in 2008, were written in complete absence of collaboration with the other authors, when they exist , and with no validation by INRA. There are important ethical and scientific acceptability problems for these papers. (1) N. Sakr uses results of other scientists and gives the INRA address (INRA-UBP, UMR 1095), without any agreement. (2) Some of the results presented could not have been obtained in the conditions described. (3) Several articles, published in different journals, describe exactly the same results and analyses. INRA thus asks that no credit should be given to articles published by N.Sakr who behaviour is in complete disagreement with accepted rules for scientific publications.
INRA cannot caution scientific publications by N. Sakr as sole author. If you require further information, or if you have a doubt on a paper submitted by N. INRA le informa que los artículos sobre el mildiu del girasol publicado o presentado por Nachaat SAKR (CEA Siria *) desde la defensa de su tesis en 2008, fueron escritos en total ausencia de consulta con los otros autores (cuando hay) y sin ninguna validación de parte del instituto (Inra). De hecho, los artículos de M. Sakr presentan problemas graves relacionados con la ética científica la más elemental: (1) N. SAKR asuma a resultados que no le pertenecen usurpando a la dirección del Institute (INRA-UBP, UMR 1095), (2) algunos resultados que se presentan no han podido ser obtenido en las condiciones mencionadas en los artículos, y (3) algunos artículos publicados en diferentes periódicos están basados sobre los mismos datos sin análisis suplemental. INRA le pide que no dé ningún crédito a los artículos publicados por N. Sakr que violan las normas básicas de funcionamiento de la comunidad científica.
Por todas estas razones, INRA no garantiza el contenido científico de los artículos el los cuales N. SAKR aparece como único autor. Si desean uds más información o si tienen algunas dudas en cuanto a un manuscrito que se presentará por N.
